We are looking for speed, accuracy, and fabric and fitting experience in this role. With a key requirement being tech pack production, past pattern-making exposure will also be helpful. Bringing a real passion for getting fits right and consistent, your expertise will also see you advise options on construction and cost effectiveness as well. Your New Career

You will support designers in translating concepts to technical specifications to produce samples for costing, you will also provide guidance on product design feasibility. Being a go-to about garment specifications, you will manage fit sessions providing insight into correct sizing and sampling. A core focus of this role is to also create and manage garment specification packs including product and technical detail sent to manufacturers and suppliers. 

 

We are a fast paced, high volume fashion environment – additional duties include:

  • Proactively contributing to fit sessions
  • Meeting critical path deadlines

 

Must Haves:

  • You are an experienced Garment Technician with at least 4 years' experience within a fashion brands or apparel supplier environments
  • You additionally possess experience with Menswear and Womenswear specifically – able to demonstrate knowledge of garment construction, fabric, fit, shape.
  • You have sound knowledge of fabrications and suitability to translate into different apparel products
  • You are a team player – engaging, able to work across departments, communicating effectively and building relationships
  • You show initiative –  with strong time management, you also thrive in a fast-paced, high volume setting
  • You have strong communication skills – able to clearly articulate fits and commentary to offshore suppliers
